Sunday’s really are great don’t you think?!
When you wake up on a Sunday (and have the day off) things just seem to be a lot more relaxed than any other day of the week. Sundays really are best for chilling out and doing the absolute bare minimum. If you must go out then clothing choices should be comfortable and practical, my ideal top to toe is messy/slightly tidy top knot, over-sized shirt with vest and leggings with my most comfortable shoes or boots. Whether it is the flower or farmers market the only other thing you need is a rug sized scarf and your wallet before you drag yourself out of the house to join the Sunday crowd. So, whilst donning your Sunday best what will you get up to?!
Depending on my days off for the week is how I usually pick my food shopping day. If however I am off with the Mr at the weekend we tend to do our food shopping on a Sunday as if you go at just the right time it can be fairly quiet and there are some great deals available. Clothes shopping however is definitely a no no as the world and his proverbial wife seem to be out and about on this particular bandwagon!
With the next week ahead I like to take about an hour out just to list what I need to get done over the next few days and make sure I prepare some time for each task. This usually sorts out that feeling of getting overwhelmed when there is so much to do at the end of the week. If I am organized I can usually get most things done by Wednesday (work dependent) and can enjoy the weekend with the Mr and dogs.
The Mr and I have a few favourite shows that we like to binge watch given the chance, that being said once you have binged you have to wait each week for the next episodes. At the moment we are just getting all of our favourites back week by week but are still on the hunt for new series to smash through. Somehow I don’t think I will get him hooked on Pretty Little Liars so that will be one for when I’m having some alone time, well that and re-runs of Gossip Girl and Sex and the City of course.
